Hello and welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I'm a second year Occupational Therapy student at the Otago Polytechnic in good old (lovely and cold) Dunedin!

This semester we are taking a course called Participation in Occupation I. What this course is about it technology, in our society today, in our lives, in OT practice...it's everywhere!

The purpose of this blog is to be an online resource, accessible at the click of a mouse, from anywhere in the world. It talks about various sorts of technology, its application, its benefits and disadvantages, and of course, ethical implications. That's something all of us should consider more. After all, what we do in practice, every "little" decision we make, can have a huge impact on someone's life. Think about that!

IT is increasingly being used in OT so let's think and talk about both IT and OT more! Cheers :)
